The breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice and you can keep ordering if you like. Staff is also very friendly, serving you some fruit eg. Had worse in many a stay. The hotel has been closed for some time, they say it has been renovated and reopened recently under a slightly different name. An is very helpful to make sure you're comfortable. Laundry service was quick and efficient. An arranged a shuttle to the airport from here. Rooms were adequate, had an extra bed. Location is good.

I had a very good stay at the Sonata Premier Hotel & Spa! I arrived at 2am and it was no problem for me to check in. The room was very nice and clean and the bed slept very comfortable! Especially An was the most helpful staff that I could wish for! She made me breakfast at 11 and made sure I was well rested after my traveling of the previous days. She also helped me with booking a bus to Cat Ba!

Everything! We had a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is very ideal, everything is walking distance. Lots of good restaurants within the hotel area. Staff - very nice and courteous. They are always smiling and accommodate all our request. They clean the room every day and change the towels everyday. Those who man the reception area can understand English so communication is easy. Room - exactly as it was described in the pictures. Clean toilet and beds. The aircon has a heating mode so we were very comfortable when it was so cold. There is also television. It comes with complimentary bottled water and coffee. The hotel also has an elevator though sometimes it was not working but not a big deal. Breakfast- decent breakfast. It comes with the price of the room so we were able to eat breakfast and lessen our expenses. The meal itself is plated but the fruits, bread and drinks are unlimited. Car service - The coordination is exceptional. I booked airport pick up and drop off. The car service arrived on time. Other services - They also offer laundry services. We gave our laundry in the morning and it is already available at night of the same day.

The staff was very cooperative and helpful with us as our arrival date changed twice after making out booking. We wound up staying two nights with a balcony room, then again two days later with a room on the back-side of the hotel. Breakfast was good, balcony was nice, with a pleasant view of the busy old quarter streets. It is Hanoi, with a lot of noise, so thankfully I had earplugs. The second stay with the room on the back side was very quiet, but it had no window. The property is within walking distance of most things in the old quarter and only a few minutes walk from the Train Street.

The hotel is located practically in the old town - everywhere only a few minutes walk to the main places of the Old Town. Around there are plenty of restaurants, pubs where you can eat something good. The windows of the room did not face the street so you can't hear the hustle and bustle of the city. The room is a bit too small for 2 people, but it is the center of the city in Hanoi after all. For this price you can't expect a large apartment. Very helpful staff, simple breakfast included, enough to start the day. Easy communication in English.
